Distributed Rendering not working from Vista to XP

Hello all,

I have a computer running Vista at home that I use to vpn into work. I have already turned off the firewalls. I am able to net render to the render farm at work but I cannot distribute render on my machine at home and grab the machines on the render farm at work. I was able to do this fine with a computer I had running XP in the past.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is the error message I'm getting.

"warning: Render host unknown (ip address) is not responding
Ping not received from host (ip address) for 670259 milliseconds, dropping connection"
