  • Motion Blur with Moving Camera Target weird

In this scene I have a moving object with an attached CameraTarget to it. The Camera itself is at the moment not moving.

Using the Still Camera (which I like to use preferably) I am having a weird phenomena, that only the moving object is blurred, but not the background. Since the Cam-target is moving along with the car, actually I expected the result to be other way around

Strangely it kind of works with a Video-Cam, but I am having a hard time to control the Shutter-Speed here, with the two only controls (latency and Sensitivity).

Even more strangely it did not work with the Movie-Cam like above.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanx in advance, regards, Peter

    Edit:

That's what I got with the video-camera, but as I said, I am having here a hard time controlling the shutterlength for the MoBlur:

What does it look like with a standard camera (you can also try the standard camera multipass motion blur just for a test)?

    Best regards,

      Workaround

      Hi, Vlado

(Hope you had a good time in Berlin!).

In the setup the Cameratarget was linked with a spring constraint to a craft-4wheeler-object.

Strangely, it wasnt recognized as a moving object this way.

Baking the animation of the Target as an unlinked object resolved the issue. Any ideas where this comes from?

      Best regards from B,

      Peter
