streaming sunlight

Dear all

please help out with this one,

I want to show sunight streaming through the window, giving different colours on the floor in this scene, but when I try to use a volumetric light it does'nt work. It did on mental ray. Also on v ray materials what is the best way to filter the light even though it is coloured in the glass materials

You can either use a 3ds Max Direct light with the Volume Fog atmospheric effect (make sure you use Shadow Maps for the light), or else use the VRayEnvironmentFog atmospheric effect.
