I'm trying to save an EXR image with some render elements in it, and I've found that if the name of an element is too long it's saved incorrectly.
For example, If I have a VRayExtraTex renederelement named "VRayExtraTex - Texture Name Too Long" and I try to open it, the VRayExtraTexelement channel name is truncated and the channel is stored as if it was an integer channel. The same happens with other render elements.
I need to have long channel names for a script I'm doing, is it a exr limitation?
Windows XP 64, Max 2010 SP1, VRay SP3
