  • flythough noise

    hi,
im doing a flythrough at the moment and due to time constraints im using fairly low settings.
all my bumpy materials (like lime render, pavers etc) have noise that seems to follow the camera.
i could put up with the noise if it didnt follow the camera. is there anything i can change to fix this?

im using lc in flythrough mode, and ir map in medium animation mode.
lc is set to world units.

    thanks,
    Nat.

no, just an ldr in a domelight (very low intensity because its a night scene) and a bunch of vraylights.
the noise is coming from bumpy materials that are directly lit by the vraylights.

Thats just how the noise works - you need higher settings.

You can turn this off and make a new noise pattern every frame but it looks kind of messy.
If you uncheck time independant in the dmc sampler settings it does this.
