Sky/ Sun getting darker in animation for no reason, and camera jitter down path?

Im rendering off a flythrough , but the sky/sun gets darker each frame. If I start the render in the middle....say frame 500 its lit fine....but by frame 550 its totally black.

Couple with that, my camera is shakey down the path...totally baffled

What kind of camera are you using? Is it possible that the color mapping parameters or the camera exposure are animated?

standard max camera...animated down a spline, exposure and color mapping arent animated (just double checked).

Its absolutley baffling...I dont know if the 2 problems are related...

For the shaking - how far away is your camera from the coordinate system origin?

about 10 meters from origin

Ive tried the scene with scanline, and its fine....camera smooth and lighting constant
