Mix XP_32bit and Windows7_64bit?

Hi,

Just bought our first Windows7 64bit computer. Our daily work computers are XP 32bit. Can I use the Windows7 compu as a render slave when sending jobs from the 32bit XP's? I can't seem to make it work, I get a license error in backburner server. Networ rendering without Vray is fine. Any idea's (vray 150.3a)?

Did you set up the licenses properly on the render slaves? Are you able to open the license server web page from a web browser on the slaves?

yes, i used ipadress : portnumber in the webbrowser and ended up with a report, so that works. Do I have to do something with windows firewall or AVG virusscanner maybe to make it work?
