  • Vray 1.5SP4 edu + max2009 x64

    Hello,

    i got issue with rendering only with 30-60% utilization on QuadroCore Intel. How it is possible? Any solution? Is it bug?

    Does it happen on any scene, or just a partuclar one?

        If you type the following in the MaxScript listener, what number do you get as a result?

          It show number 0

            Then I'm not really sure what's the problem. For some scenes, using certain features, it is normal for the processor usage to drop (e.g. when using displacement or fur), but I have not come across a case where e.g. a simple teapot would not use all threads.

              Well, i have found the problem It was too low memory limit in Raycaster params/Dynamic memory limit. I had on 400MB and increasing on 4000MB lead to perfect and fast working!
              Btw how much should be set up this option depending on the physical RAM ???
              It was not on simple scene but on bigger one. I cant see utilization on rendering one teapot
