SP4 and RT installation

when I have installed vray SP4, I could not install vrayRT in workstation mode. it can only be installed as renderslave version.

the error message is: ...old vray version...

when you then install vray SP3a, you can also install vrayRT in workstation version.

It seems that vrayRT not realize the right version of vray (SP4)

Yeah, that was a bit of a mixup there; we are uploading a revised version of V-Ray RT that does not have this issue.

In the meantime, a work-around would be to change value of the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\V-Ray for 3ds Max 2010 for x64\DisplayVersion

to "1.50.SP3a" without the quotes. Of course, adjust this for the 3ds Max version that you have. Many apologies for the inconvenience.

I have uninstall sp4a and install sp3a, then install RT and then uninstall sp3a and reinstall sp4a

and it work, don't know if it was a bad idea
