I've recently bought Max 2010 x64 EDU and V-Ray x64 EDU for my film-school project. Everything is working ok, except for license service, it could not obtain license from a dongle. So obviously i get error ( -98 ) in max, and Vray wont render anything. I've checked my Vray installation as well as drivers for the dongle and they appear to be ok, the license service is running and i can access it from web browser but there is no license displayed.
So I took my dongle to a friend of mine, who is working with commercial Vray 1.5 Adv, I plug it instead of his dongle and his Vray works just fine. I seems that i'v got dongle with full commercial license on it, while i bought EDU version. I'm a bit confused. What should i do now?
