  • Installing Vray using Dongle

I finally receive my dongle this morning. I ran through all the steps to install vray on my 64 bit machine. Once I completed the install I put the dongle on as stated. License seems to be running. When I launch Max 2010 64bit and change my renderer to Vray it states that it can't find a Vray License? Any Ideas?

Are you able to open the license server web page from your web browser?

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

      Edit:

I am able to open the license server web page but there is no licenses at all.

The problem has been fixed. We had to update my dongle I uploaded a context file to Tania and he sent me the update back. All good now. In the future hopefully we can simplify the installation process.

Now I have the "update"-file but when I try to open it it says:

Error transferring WibuKey Remote Programming Update file (0).

That would be question for Vlado. What I did was send them the context file and they updated something in the file. They then sent it back to me. I unzipped the file to my desktop and just double clicked the file. Make sure that your dongle is connected and make sure Max isn't running.
