  • Edges when using fogcolor

I have a problem Ive encountered every time I try to do some nice ocean water, I then usually use 100% reflect, 100% refract, IOR of something like 1,33 and a blue fog color with different multiplier/bias depending on the situation.
Doing this creates a beautiful ocean but when the waterplane goes into the shore I get a dark line. Anyone know of a solution for this?

In the attached image the left side is with fog multiplier of 0,4 and right side is fog multiplier of 0,0 (no fog)

edit: Ive also noticed that these edges show up in the Zdepth pass aswell, very wierd

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life. Has anyone figured this out? I'm having the exact same issue. As soon as I introduce a color to the fog that dark line shows up. In my scene all I have is a flat plane for the water running through a beach with a little slope to it.

Drop the shadow bias of the main light in the scene to something very low like 0.001 and that line should fade away.
