  • Crash when motion bluring an object with variable polycount

I know that such crash is logical, but is there a solution for mo-bluring such objects?

    Max 2009 + VRay 1.5 SP4a

    Greets!

When i switch to dynamic it renders quite well. But the console is reporting ".. changing topology, can't motion blur mesh deformation"

Does that mean that VRay can't motion blur ANY deforming geometry or only geometry with variable poly count?

not that i know of. i tried a trick once of setting the motionblur duration to under a frame on my realflow meshes. i think it tracks vertex and where they move to so if the vertexs change from frame to frame it goes wild

Yeah ok. With dynamic geo and moblur 0.7 frame is working, but still crashes from time to time and some frames mo blur is slightly off

Anyway. No problem. Thanks for the input!
