Vray ies specular highlights

I've got some strange specular highlights on the floor. Somehow the highlight are cut off.

Some info:
All lighting is done with Vray ies lights.
The floor is a vray plane with a semi gloss Vray material.

Just decrease the cutoff threshold for the light and it will go away.

Also make sure that you have unchecked the 'Max-compatible Shade Context' box under the Vray System rollout.

You can set it as low as 0.0

When I set it to 0.0 it jumps right back to 0.001

It happens when I turn on fresnel reflections on the groundplane.

Somehow in a new file I can set cut-off to 0

Adjusting the 3ds Max spinner precision in the Preferences can help in such cases.
