    Hi, i have an interior scene lighting with ies, hdri and vraysun, the problem is with a particular metal material, it have some splotches wich it havent suppose to have :S, the geometry it a spline with a sweep modifier, i rendered with LC on PB and SB and the problem doesnt showed , only with IR+LC, but if i use BF+LC the problem go away at render time expenses.
    So what i'm doing wrong or its vray?

    For me it looks like you have 2 geometry on top of each other... :s

    Try disable IOR and just put white reflection... IOR of 20 its fully reflective anyway if im not wrong.

        Maybe is a smoothing problem? Try disabling "Smooth Path" in the Sweep dialog.

          i would also say its a geometry problem. give em more space inbetween?
          or maybe you got there some bezier handels in the spline?

            Including moving/hiding the glass? It looks like the objects are intersecting - i've never seen that happen for anything else.

              that's what i though at first glance, and i even redoit the whole line from scratch and assign it a different section
              @cubicganster
              done that too, its kind of strange because i model the glass from just a extruded line and the metal secctions are always intersecting it with no previous problems.
