  • Vray VFB - bug - Collor sat/gama dont match.

    Heya

I just noticed a tinny ''bug'' that its causing vray VFB to miss match Max render output.

Please look at first stairs. The VFB is darker than max render output. Its also slightly more saturated.

Not sure if its a bug or just how VFB works, maybe it was intended to do that, sry then for miss bug report

This is just the difference between sRGB (in the V-Ray VFB) and pure gamma 2.2 (in the 3ds Max VFB) color spaces. They are defined slightly differently for dark colors.

Humh, thats weird if I will disable the sRGB the image will be completely dark, much more then it is now, nothing close to the final render...

Of course. If you set the 3ds Max display gamma to 1.0, you'll get the same thing.
