  • Noisy raw lighting

    Hi all,

    i've a little problem with my pass of Raw Lighting it's noisy only on a specific material,
    altought it has no bump map, an lights subdivivion are at 25
    if someone could help me.

    Seems to lack of image samples. Try to lower your Noise threshold (render setup dialog/Settings). I normally go for 0.005 which mostley gives good results. Addiotionally depending on which antialising sampler you're using you can adjust the sample settings as well e.g. for the dmc sampler.       thanks for reply, noise treshold wasalready 0.005 but i try to use Anti aliasing with Mitchell netravelli prehaps it's that i'll try in this way

        What is the sub-div on the material itself? do you have store IM check on your light?

          No store with Irradiance maps for all lights, an reflect subdivision at 25 for Materials,but decreasing noise threshold to 0.005 make it less visible.
          the antialiasing not made it deasapear.

            Could you show an image of the beauty ? If that material has a lot of reflection for example and the diffuse component is relatively low it might get undersampled because of its small contribution to the final image.

              here is the render composed, it's exact the diffuse component is relatively dark, so it's normal on dark diffuse component but is there any solution to solve this at your knowledge ?
