3dsmax2010 Hotfix 2010.06.08 ruined vrayspawner

Hi all!
Unfortunately, I have to say , I've just upgraded the main workstation and all render nodes with the latest autodesk 3dsmax design hotfix 06.08 and now DR stopped working at all!! I see it keeps restarting vrayspawner on every pc with xp x64 and it makes max to crash on the main pc with Seven ultimate x64.

It was all working perfectly until now before installing the hotfix, so beware it will possibly ruin your DR too.

Vlado, please, do you already know this? Do you already have a solution??

i do both, reinstall 3dsmax and Vray, but nothing...

I've installed the hotfix and it stops my working dr too. Any chance to get help?

Okay. It's save to uninstall the hotfix. I've do this with the standard windows add/remove program function. After this dr runs fine again. Maybe another never-touch-a-runing-system story

Hi guys, I tried to uninstall the hotfix but problem persists. I solved doing a complete reinstall of 3dsmax + vray on all the machines.

it's really a pain, did someone try to move up to SP5 to solve the problem ?

@zedish23: i was runing sp5 with that hotfix. so this don't solve the problem. sp5 was released before the hotfix and therefore it could not address any problem with the newer hotfix.

To solve the issue for 3ds Max 2010, please replace the vraydummy2010.xml file in the root folder of 3ds Max with the attached one on the render slaves. I will post a file for 3ds Max 2009 on Monday.
