  • Shadow / Light Falloff

    Morning!

I've been working on a shader and i noticed that if the falloff type is set to Shadow / Light in a Falloff map, it doesn't work. I did search the forum, but i didn't really find a direct answer whether it is supported by V-Ray or not. I think someone said that V-Ray's GI engines didn't support it. I tried rendering with GI turned off but it didn't seem to work either. Is there a certain trick to make it work or is it just not supported? a Follow up question to the developers - is there any chance it will be supported in the future?

Well I've just made a quick test with a simple scene setup myself and it seems to be working just fine with and without GI. I guess the problem was that I'd never tried to play around with the mixing curve which was why the DARK or SHADOW color was almost impossible to see.. and so I thought it was just not working, i.e. not supported.
          Thanks for Your help Vlado
