VRay Toon and render elements > all your base are belong to us!

When using vray toon as a render effect on the beauty with render elements i get the vray toon populated in EVERY render element due to the nature of the environment effect. Is there a way to limit the vray toon to the beauty only e.g. so i can render in one take? A ZBuffer with vray toon applied is kinda useless...Looks funny though!
