environmentfog volumetric lighting ???

Hi everybody.

i´m trying to get volumetric lighting to work on vray plane lights, but without succes...
i read about in this forum and in the help files, but i can´t get this one to work.

here´s my setup:



i already played with the f-stop setting, but the light´s fog won´t show...
any suggestions ?

obviously vrayrt couldn´t show this...
although the light contribution is not what i wanted it to be (i wanted an effect like in this image) the fog finally showed up...
if anyone has got a hint on how to achieve this effect, please post it.
Otherwise i will test...

I make my own setup and it works pretty well I think.

I am not positive whats happening in your scene, but you do have an older vray build. In my case the fog works right away with default settings. Here is an example of the render with a gizmo box.
