  • Vraylight subdivs when only visible in reflections

Now that Ive noticed it its not really a problem, but still, thought I'd give a headsup and also wanted to find out if theres any reason for this.
In my scene I have a few lights thats only visible in reflections, after struggling with high rendertimes I tried lowering the subdivs of these and came to the conclusion that it affected the renderingtimes quite alot but didnt change a pixel in the render.
Seems like V-Ray should be smart enough to not use more than 1 subdiv for reflections, or does it actually affect the quality in some way I haven't been able to see?

Hm, right now V-Ray does not really take into account the fact that diffuse and specular are disabled for the light and will still do the full calculations. I will make a note to correct this.

    Best regards,
