Vlado and ChaosGroup,
I have a scene which I'm doing a animated car pass. In the scene are multiple SSS2 materials, but for the scene I'm using a global Material override with a matte material and excluding the cars.
VRay is still calculating 5 prepasses with GI Off even when the objects with the SSS2's materials are being overridden. The only way to fix it is to actually apply the material on all of the objects in the scene so the ones with the SSS2 materials get assigned another material.
The prepasses shouldn't be calculated when the object's material is being overridden. Am I right?
Thanks,
-Colin
