why is my opacity map projecting shadows?

i have used both and the result is the same... only opacity... only refraction... and even both...

If you are using refraction, make sure the "Affect shadows" option is enabled for the material. BTW what is the light and its shadow type?

i'm using refraction with "Affect shadows" and its a vray plane light...

I'm not quite sure then; does it work on a simpler scene? If you still cannot get it to work, can you send us this part of your scene to vray@chaosgroup.com so that we can check what's wrong?

i have sent a zip file, subjectpacity problem, thanks Vlado for looking into this... this is suposed to be a simple thing but i don´t know what to do more... i have tested almost all caobinations but no good... and the dead line was supose to be.. 18:00... of today...

So it's because of the VRayDirt map; turn on the "Work with transparency" option in VRayDirt and it will be fine.
