  • Network Rendering Firewall Issue

I reinstalled my OS (Win7) and now my second machine is having problems rendering over the network. Here's a breakdown:

Machine One - Full Workstation with dongle (renders locally fine)
Machine Two - Render Slave only (backburner gives err: 10060 license failure)

But, I solved this issue when I turned Windows firewall off. But I need it on so what can I do to solve this? My license server is setup as "Computer:30304". Not really sure how to tell window's firewall to let 30304 bypass or even if that's the issue. Any suggestions? Using Vray1.5sp5 and Phoenix FD 1.1

You want to make sure that the vrlservice is allowed on the workstation, as well as 3dsmax on all machines.

This was exactly the issue and is now solved. Allowing vrlservice pass the firewall works well. Thank you!
