    Hey!

We're having a minor issue in regards to using Vray with Deadline as render manager. The issue is simply when using OpenEXR - we end up with empty folders for the active render elements. It would be preferable to just end up with the OpenEXR sequence that contains all the elements.

So the question is: How to disable Vray/Deadline creating those folders?

    The setup is the following:

-Render elements activated, but not enabled since we use the Vray framebuffer.

-Output is set in the render to Vray raw file option, but with .exr as extension.

Perhaps it's not related to Vray, but thought I'd try here first before posting on the Deadline forum

    Thanks!

I think these might be automatically created by 3ds Max, but I'm not quite sure. Perhaps setting the render elements paths to empty strings will help.

    Best regards,

        It's a deadline option....

Look in the Deadline -Render tab, scroll down, expand 3dsmax pathing options and turn off some of the checkboxes there.
