questions before updating to V2 beta.

hello ,

1- Do we need to uninstall Vray 1.5 AND Vray RT from every workstations and nodes before installing V2beta ?

2- Does the 1.5 scene render the same with v2beta or we need to tweak some seetings ?


thanks for your answer, i'm waiting to know before installing the update.

( it's would be a lot better if we can have 1.5 and 2.0 at the same time to make the transition time )

1. No; the installation of V-Ray 2.0 will automatically uninstall V-Ray 1.5 and V-Ray RT before installing the new versions.

2. It may be necessary to change the settings of the Adaptive DMC image sampler; see this page for more information: http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/200R...ate_to_1_5.htm
