Vray 2.0 Beta... DBR bugged? Or just anoying like little kid... ?

Heya

Soo well I fired up Vray 2.0 For tests and Wuaila. DBR is anoying like hell..

It doesn't start, or lag or doesn't start..

Back in 1.5 it could sometimes kick in in the middle of render. Now is silence argh !

Fix much appreciated

DBR work fine here , but i have to play with services on/off and administrator right after the install.

I did a few tests today here as well and it seemed fine; will do more in the evening.

Still failing on my machines. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong ? For example

I start render with DBR
Workstation is starting render
I start Slave
Slave booted up, with max,
Nothing happen slave is idle

Now back in 1.5 the slave would simply pick up scene and start rendering... now is idling...

We did a lot of tests here and everything seemed fine, including nodes joining a rendering. Will keep looking though.

In your case, does it work if the slave is already up when you start the DR?

Yup. Works fine when slave is up. But dont like to join. I'll run some more tests later on when I get a min, maybe it just system need to get justu 2.0 lol...

Do you have any firewalls or have any access problems with your slaves?

Sry was busy, No no firewalls only avast. Its offline render node just for rendering, theres no internet access. It got all security windows thing disabled...

Anyway

New bug

when rendering animation > Set to Frames from x to x, it wont use slave. Says slave is busy... always argh !
