  • MultiMatte element behind glass and in reflections?

    Hi all

    How can I get my multimatte to work behind refracted objects and in reflections?

    For example if I want to change the colour of something in post, the part of it that is behind glass or in a refletion somewhere doesn't get "matte". Err hmm I hope I explained it simple enough.
    So those parts are not in the multimatte element. Is there another element I could use for this?

      yeah I would love multimatte to be reflection and refraction aware.

        For refractions, it will work if you set the "Affect channels" option for VRayMtl to "All channels".

          cool, will give that a try, is there any way reflections can be added to the multimatte. Busy doing a project now with a few different element and particle sets that need to be graded into many different colour sets in post. Would really help to have mattes for the reflections work automatically with multimatte.
