  • Vray Dispersion tests... Looking bad, bug or just useless ?

    Heya

    So, I thought that id see if I can use any of the new features in my work. Dispersion is something I was hoping to abuse all the time bit it gives me weird effects...>>

    Does any1 know how to em... make it better?

    Clean render no caustics/gi/only dmc sampler 4/8 and 16 sub in lights if any of that matter...

    Teapot works fine... but in real work scenes its always noisy like hell... help

    You will probably need to raise the refraction subdivisions in the material to a pretty high amount. Might want to see if that helps.

      Humh, kinda did try it but was taking soo long to render that I just left the idea of dispersion...

            Its possible that the model of the headlight is causing problems.
            Is it a "solid" object?

              Yea

              Its Edit poly > ts 6 > Displace > Texture

              I'm not using displacements...

              Ill run few more tests see what I can do...
