  • Vray 2.0 - Screen texture wont blur ?

    Heya

Just like in topic. I got screen texture, and a lot of motion blur. Its not getting blured like everything else. Is it just me or bug ?

It is not a bug; textures with "screen" mapping are always fixed to the screen.

The problem is - what do you visually expect to happen? Since the texture is projecting in the exact same position, there won't be any difference between frames, hence no blur.

Yea, true, I thought that at render time the texture would get backed to models or something like that to keep the motion blur :s

If you are trying to cheat motion blur, you can use the shademap functionality of the stereoscopic helper. It can store the shading information to a file from a non-motion-blurred frame, and then reproject that on the actual rendering.
