  • 2011 Hotfix problems

Just installed the 3dsmax 2011 hotfix4 (64bit), and the listener is throwing this error when trying to make a vrayplane: "--Runtime error: Cannot get mesh from this object: TriMesh"

This is Vray 1.5 SP5 (not got the go-ahead for vray 2.0 purchase yet )

Any idea what is causing this? Makes all further creation of vray objects not work.

Not sure yet; I have to install it and see what happens.

    Best regards,

Hm, I can't really reproduce this here; our support guys can't reproduce the issue either. Does it say which script causes the error?

      Best regards,
      Vlado

Hi there. I am now experincing this problem. I am running max 2020 and the latest version of vray. It happens with every vray object type

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting my max user proile and starting again all to no avail

If I create a vray object it throws up the error and leaves an empty object in my scene. Everytime I select the object it throws up the warning until I delete it from the scene.

Max 2019 and 2018 are completely fine.

Someone please help before I throw the pc out of the window.
