  • Glass Problem - AGAIN!

OK in the 1st image you can see the glass canopy made up of 3 glass parts butt jointed (I made them 1mm apart)
You can barely see the join (circled in white) and you can just just make out a shadow by the join.
In image 2 you can see my glass parameters. I tried various IOR for the refraction and reflection (inlcuding unlinking) but still it doesn't seem to come out right. The front edge of the glass is very dark, as it should be. One would expect the joins to also be darkish like the edge, but for some reason you can hardly see the edge.
Originally there was no gaps between the glass (0mm) but that was even worse. I suspect if I made the gap 5mm, it would start getting a little better, but then you will see there is a gap between the glass, and there isn't suppose to be a gap. This particular glass is 20mm thick.

Any thoughts? (Like maybe chamfering the edges by 5mm)
    Kind Regards,

Chamfering is always a good idea! You can even chamfer by adding a VRayEdgesTex in your bump slot.
