  • Couple of Vray 2.0 bugs

    1. Im using irrmap/lightcache. Select "use lightcache for glossy rays" and then change the secondary bounce to Brute Force. A warning comes up saying: warning: :Lightcache is used for glossy rays; it is recommended to turn to light cache retracing. Should this warning even come up if you are not using lightcache ?

    2. When selecting a Vraycamera and checking the FOV button. If you change the FOV and the deselect the checkbox, the FOV still remains active at the angle that was set. Shouldnt the FOV return to default if the checkbox is unchecked.

Thanks for the pointer, will fix this.

Nope; as you change the FOV, you will notice that the lens focal length changes in order to produce the desired FOV value. When you uncheck the FOV option, then V-Ray returns to using the focal length, however this is already modified to match the last used FOV value.
