Im having trouble understanding how this works and how you determine the world scale size? This tutorial http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150S...ials_anim2.htm says set it to 15cm

Where as this tutorial http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/150S...ials_imap2.htm says set it to 2 with the added information:

"This can be done, for example, by creating a geosphere directly in the camera viewport or a Tape object and using it to visualize the sample size."

what exactly does placing a geosphere in your scene achieve? and what size is a good size as a starting point? 2cm or 15cm?

It all depends from ur scene... Big scale scenes (KM) u might set it to bit higher settings. If it comes to small scenes, loads of detail u might want to have it very low...

Either way ur scenes have to be scale accurate or if they now u just have to guess, or use geosphere u described to find out suitable size...
