Save/ load presets

Hey! I try to save my global setting into presets, but when I try to load them with another file nothing happen. Is it only me or the save/load setting doesnt work in 1.5 and 2.0??

i've also had this problem for a few weeks..No matter how many times i try saving over a preset. It always reverts back to the old one

2 of my friends have the same problem, so it isn't just an individual problem. Does the Chaos is going to fix it? I see the problem in 2.0 too.

I was not aware that there is an issue. Is this in 3ds Max or 3ds Max Design? Are these the 3ds Max render presets or the V-Ray ones?

of course Vray (settings rollout -> Vray::System -> presets), in 3ds max 2010 (vray 1.5) and 2011 (vray 2.0) the same problem.

for example: I have some scene with setup for GI, Image Sampler, Light Cache etc. I want to save it as a preset. I go to setting -> vray:system-> presets, type file name, select all of the roll-ups and click save. I create new file and try to load that preset (seen on the presets list), but nothing happen, no changes in any roll-up.

If you close and re-open the Render Setup dialog, do you see the new values? Also, in your Windows regional settings, is "." or "," selected as a decimal symbol?

hey! nothing changes, I have tested multiple options with save/load presets (like saving single roll-ups), but there is no chance to load the setup in new/other scene/file. Like I mentioned my 2 friends have the same problem (as I asked them to check it). I run 3ds max on Windows 7, my decimal symbol is ",".

i seem to have similar problem, vray 1,5 max 2011 x64 decimal is ","

Ok, I had this same problem here : windows 7 x64 (french) 3ds max 2011 vray 2
Changing the decimal from "," to "." fixed the issue. But I hope that's just a temporary fix and that this will be fixed in a next update.

works fine now! LOL Anyway it should be fixed in my opinion, as this is an important option to have own presets in 2 clicks.

I have the same problem as well, it doesn't remember that I select "Fixed" sampler for my AA when I save it even though it's highlighted when I save the preset.
