  • V-Ray 1.5 SP5 on Windows 7 64 bit.

Remember the Murphy's Laws? Yeah... that is my case. When most you need to render in Vray more problems you have to run it. Two day ago I turn to WIndows 7 64 bit... BitDefender Antivirus... and Vray. Installation finished without problems. Vray License Server is running fine. However if I run "http://localhost:30304/getstatus" in my browser... everything looks fine except that under "Sessions list for VRay/Adv 1.5" nothing appear.

PLEASE!!! anybody know what I'm doing wrong? I already wrote to Chaos Group but they take some days to answer.
    Thanks in advance.

hard to say, usually under win 7 we turn off UAC, which can cause some issues. Also maybe turn off firewall to see if it helps. Lastly, you can write several paths to the license, for example - localhost, "ip" 192.168.0.1 (or whatever your ip is) and server name. I had to do that since local host was not working.

Sorry. My mistake. I was openning 3D Studio from my ObjectDock... and the path was c:/Program Files(x86)/Autodesk/... but I realize that 3DStudio Max 2011 (64 bit) open from c:/Program Files/Autodesk/.... Now everything is working fine. Thanks!!!!
