error - set region problem

  • error - set region problem

    I left a render going last night on my local machine. Vray 1.5, Max 2009 x64. Here is a portion of the vray log:

    Yep, there seems to be a problem writing tiled OpenEXR files that take a long time to a network location. Writing to the local disk, or to a .vrimg file is not a problem.

      Has there been any solutions to this problem? Apart from saving to VRIMG that is.
      I am still getting this error but it is never consistent. Some machine render everything fine then others have the error. Then that same machine might render another image and everything works!

        No, unfortunately I haven't found a fix. But, OpenEXR 2.0 is just around the corner and hopefully it will handle this without problem
