All,
I have had this issue in a few jobs recently. I show the client an example of a VrayToon render, they love it, and want it and we adopt it for their project.
The issue I have is this. We use Xref scenes for all our projects, having an empty render file with lights, cameras, render settings etc, and then xref in all the scene components through xref. This is all well and good, but not if you want to exclude an object in an xref, or indeed the whole xref from the VrayToon effect.
As I understand it, you can only include/exclude in VrayToon objects in the same max file as the effect?
Is there any way around this? I was thinking something along the lines of a tick box in the VrayObject Properties?
Many thanks,
Mark
