NOTIFY_POST_RENDER line 417: VRay::freeData()

After rendering I get the following Error:

Error: UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Broadcasting NOTIFY_POST_RENDER last marker is at
.\src\vray.cpp, line 417:VRay::freeData(),cleaning render settings

My rendering dialog crashes and becomes unresponsive.

Im working with 3ds max 2011 - Vray 1.5 sp5
Intel Xeon X5550 @ 2.67GHz dual quad
24 GB Ram
Nvidia quadro fx 4800
Windows 7 64bit

In this scene I'm working with "Hair and Fur" on geometry mode.

It's a Hair and fur problem. Doesn't matter if I render on Geometry or mr prim.
This used to work fine, are ther any solution or work arounds?

Hi,

I found the problem.
If you enable the Direct illumination in a VrayLightMtl in combination with vray fur, your render will crash.
Without this setting the scene works fine.
The problem wasn't limited to one scene, but occured over multiple projects.

@ Vlado: I will send the stripped scene to your mail, perhaps it's of use.
