  • No 'Sequence' Option in VrayHDRI

You can select an IFL file in the VrayHDRI map but you can't select one of a sequence and tick a box to make Vray know it's an IFL.

Temporary Workaround - On a new material create a bitmaptexture select the hdr, select sequence, then you'll be able to load the ifl into the VrayHDRI.

You mean in the file browse dialog for VRayHDRI?

Yes... only a minor inconveince but would be nice to be able to create the IFL on the fly as you normally would do.

          +1 for this.

A workaround is the IFL manager, but this would make things quicker.

          On a similar topic:

Can you add the "time" rollout from the standard bitmap loader? Very useful when dealing with IFL's.
Can we have the option for "clear cache on render end" to be local to a particular instance of vrayhdri? IFL's you want to clear, single frames you don't...

          Cheers,
          Olly

Thanks for the pointers; I've added them as feature requests. For the IFL cache thing, it is probably a better idea to automatically replace the cached old frames with the new ones as they are loaded.
