  • Distibuted rendering - different shade per cpu

    Hi
I have been using distributed rendering for a while with no issues.
Just been doing some clay renderings with the override material activated.
On the one image I noticed the the 2 different computers were rendering different shaded boxes.
There are no maps involved and basic lighting, vray sun with a few vray lights.
    Vray 1.5 sp 5
    Sample attached.
Any ideas why this is happening?

    Cheers
    Derek

we just had a very similar thread about this...

either its IES lighting or its 32/64 bit machines. You should probably dig up the thread... let me find it:

      Cheers for reply werticus.
I never solved problem, only seemed to happen on one view and with override clay material.
So didnt find solution as otherwise DR is running perfectly
      Thanks.

I had that once and it was the issue of GAMMA. The node for some reason had different gama settings somehow... It fixed itself in new scene...
