Saved renders come out dark

When I render my scene it looks good. I try to save it as a jpeg and the image is extremely dark. If I save it as a tiff or a png it looks fine. Does anyone know why it is doing this?

Sounds like you're working with LWF. This problem is gamma related. When you save out a jpg, in the save dialog make sure to "override gamma" and even though the thumbnail will look wrong, save it as 2.2.

I have tried changing that setting. It still does nothing. I can't figure out why the images are coming out black. If I use SolidRocks to render it, it saves fine.

This is verbatim a gamma issue. Post your gamma specs preferences dialog, and color settings dialog

Ok I finally got it right. I was looking at the wrong spot to change the Gamma. Thanks for all of your help.
