Vray Proxy Error....Am i missing something ?

Hi all,

I have a model of a chair sent to me by a vendor. Its an editable poly. Nothing special.

Now the issue is when i do a mesh export i usually do either single object or separate, whatever works. In this case whether i attached objects or not as soon as i Export the objects dissapears and the proxy box goes off to another part of the screen. If i click on the preview from file option it stays as a box.

Ty so much for any help.

I can attach a screen shot but i assume its well explained. Nothing special. I can attach a max file if need be.

Have you tried reseting the xform?

or my personal favourite max fix.. create a box, convert to editable mesh, attach your chair, and delete the box. also, make sure the pivot is in a sensible place.
