  • VrayLensEffects - problems

I have several problems with VrayLensEffects...
as you can see on the images the result is wrong. I work in LWF and render with solidRocks. the LensEffectSource element isn't clean, although I render on ULTRA. I have tested all settings, IM/LC, BF/LC (universal settings) but the result was the same.

    any ideas what's going wrong?

it's mysterious why the reflection of a light with a multiplier of 10 (4.4 float) makes a reflection of 3400 float!!

are ies files interact with the LensEffectSource? I think not and because of that I have placed some discs with a VrayLightMaterial to generate a reflection on glossy materials. the generate GI and receive GI are disabled.

I also get some white dots with high floating output? I use the colorcorrect plugin but with subtle corrections and I haven't any problems with it. the dot's are most visible on edges (VrayEdgeTex) and only on the LensEffectSource element.

I think, maybe there's a problem with solidrocks, but it's hard to believe...

    help is appreciated.

I have found out that the result is much cleaner if I disable "reflective GI caustics". may there be a problem with IES lights and reflective GI caustics? or with the LensEffectSource element?
