have a problem with displacement mapping. Dont know, if its normal and how to solve this.
I have a simple texture, put it to a displacement modifier. So far so good. After render figure out I have to smooth it to get a better result. Higher up a filter value and get a weird horizontal and vertical lines on the object and (in zoom picture) weird lines in crossfall area.
Doesnt matter if I use Blur, Blur offset or filter blur, results the same.
I try to achieve surface like a way made of small stones. Summed Area Filtering was used.
Shall I blur the texture in Photoshop? But I used summed area with blur earlier and dont remember this problems.
