  • Shadows Appearing Where I Don't Want Them With Saved Cache

Got an issue while working on a file in 2.00.02 in which some shadows are appearing on a ceiling above some pendant lights, but in other areas - right next to them - there are no shadows.

This is only happening when I'm using saved IR and LC cache files.

The image on the left was done with IR and LC in single frame mode.

The image on the right was done using saved cache files (created in 200 frames, using an Nth frame of 5).

As you can see, I'm getting unwanted shadow at the pendants closest to the camera but the others are fine.

I've tried a number of fixes, but can't seem to figure out the problem. Anyone know what's going on?

    Tnx

Okay, here's what I've found since posting this. If I select the light fixtures and uncheck 'visible to GI', the problem goes away. That's understandable. What's not understandable to me is why the closest ones to the camera are affected...?
