What could i troubleshoot if this happens? One machine gets the scene, but kicks in after a while, the others start immediately.

I have the same issue and always have had. One render node starts pretty much immediately but the other 4 are always delayed. Sometime by a considerable time 5-10 minutes in a big scene. I have never found a solution and presumed it was either that because they have less RAM or a neworking issue.Greg

It's so strange because this one kicks in almost instantly, and it's a 32 bit machine with just 4gb of ram, which probably doesnt even matter. The other is a 64bit with i7 and 8gb ram. Same network.Dusan Bosnjak

It seems like it might be multiscatter related. If i delete the multiscatter object from the scene, it seems to be faster.Dusan Bosnjak

I have the same problem. According to the vray log, the scene is transfered and should be rendering, but there isn't any buckets showing up. - The strange thing is that when I look at the task manager at the remote computer - then its working at full speed!

Now the remote machine just showed up - 20 minutes in. - I'm btw also using multiscatter in my scene! Perhaps the proxies take very long to transfer - unfortunately my other machine is connected over wifi... !!! - but it shouldn't take that long.... Strange!
