2012 viewport display problem VRay 2.0

Hi,

this problem really sucks and dont know if its related to max or vray.

I mentioned about disappearing objects (hope Vlado remember), but this is something different.

When I have objects with VRay material, turn on realistic materials and change to shaded mode, all objects disappearing and appearing again when I changing angle of the camera.
When I have realistic mode, everything is ok. When I have shaded mode and shaded materials, its ok, but shaded mode and realistic materials - really terrible!!

Have you tried the hotfix for 3ds Max 2012? There is also a service pack coming relatively soon, so hopefully it will help.

Yep, hotfix didnt help. Hope SP will help. But when objects have standard material, its ok, so I am worried its related to VRay.

We will look at it, certainly. BTW does this happen with the VRayLightMtl material, or just VRayMtl?

With VRayLightMtl too. It seems first disappear when i have to sellect all with ctrl+a didnt happen with VRayLightMtl (only VRayMtl). But disappearing and overlaping objects when shaded mode with realistic materials still happen.

seems to be an issue with vraymats in a blend too. i either get transparency or black/white checker.

black/white chacker is normal, you have to wait to show up a texture. But disappear object or disappearing and overlaping is not normal. If I have a time at a weekend, I make a video to show the problem.

I have 2.10.01 and it still do this problem.

Don't know if this could help you, but using max2012 with nitrous (gtx460 card) i got many troubles when using vray. VFB history always freeze (white, not responding), and VFB needs 5/6 seconds to close. I revert back to directd3d and all works fine now. So it's not a vray fault but a max one, nitrous

I have disappearing problem and hiding objects problem only with vray material on these objects, so its vray problem. Dont know what other problems you mean.
I talk to Vlado about this and they can reproduce this problem.
