        is there a solution on this? for mee there is no difference enabling or disabling that toggle. i found that the vfb is interacting with adobe reader... when i close the reader windows, the vfb is okay..

          That would be very odd... which version of Reader is this? Also which version of Windows and what theme are you using (Aero, standard etc)? Do you get this with older versions of 3ds Max?

            hi, its win 7 64, with aero enabled. this morning i had problems with the windows image viewer. so it is not only the adobe acrobat 9.4.4... the more other windows i have open at the same time, the more instable gets the vfb

              i had it instable when running skype....
              i had to revert to 2011...could not get it stable although my RAM tests eneded up just fine
